On October 28, Israel took my eldest brother (Muhammad, 29) hostage and illegally imprisoned him. His children miss him terribly. On November 16th, a few weeks after my parents lost their eldest son, with no idea of his fate; the massacre at the school we were sheltering in, lead to the martyrdom of my 24-year-old brother Abdulrahman. He was a Hafiz of the Quran, who had just graduated, top of his class, with his degree in computer engineering at the Islamic University of Gaza. This inspired me to pursue studying IT. I was 18 at the time of the bombing, and now the eldest son. I had lost my two older brothers within a few weeks. I almost bled to death for three days. I was in and out of consciousness before my parents found me. I required a transfusion and the doctors insisted I was lucky to be alive. I had to undergo several surgeries to amputate my left arm, with no anaesthetic, no pain meds. The first surgery was over
